Ponte ciclavel e pedonal - concurso internacional

      No âmbito da edição de 2009 e do tema "It's About Time", a EXD e a Fundação Galp Energia convidam os ateliers e profissionais de arquitectura a projectar um novo equipamento para a capital portuguesa. A nova ponte tem por objectivo facilitar a travessia da 2ª Circular por bicicletas e peões, promovendo a utilização destas formas de locomoção e constituindo um legado para Lisboa e seus habitantes. O concurso está aberto a todos os ateliers de arquitectura e arquitectos portugueses e estrangeiros. Ao autor do projecto vencedor será atribuído um prémio de €10,000, bem como a adjudicação do projecto de execução (prevista para 2010). Serão ainda atribuídos prémios monetários ao segundo e terceiro classificados e duas menções honrosas. O Prémio Universitário Arquitectura e Engenharia Civil é atribuído pela Associação Portuguesa de Construção Metálica e Mista, que tem como objectivo promover um Concurso Nacional para premiar os melhores trabalhos escolares de Arquitectura e Engenharia Civil, no âmbito da Construção Metálica e Mista. O Concurso Criar2009 tem por objectivo estimular e premiar o desenvolvimento de Ideias Criativas em Portugal no âmbito do Ano Europeu da Criatividade e da Inovação. Cada ideia criativa - pode participar com quantas quiser - deve ser apresentada em formato vídeo, com a duração recomendada de 3m, e, tanto quanto possível, enquadrar-se numa das seguintes categorias: Visões - Ideias de natureza conceptual, podendo, por exemplo, ser uma simples declaração ou apresentação Design - Ideias de criação de um objecto, forma ou estrutura, funcional ou artística Tecnologias - Ideias de uma aplicação ou solução informática. One Good Chair Competition

  It’s already time for the One Good Chair Competition again, and this year we couldn’t be more excited about the theme - local and regional furniture. The annual competition, sponsored by The Sustainable Furnishings Council and World Market Center Las Vegas , will award fabulous cash prizes and publishing opportunities to the best and brightest designs that embody and enhance a particular place. So pick a place, any place, and design a chair that exemplifies it. Final registration for the competition closes this weekend on June 15th , so register today ! As the world’s population shifts from rural areas towards dense urban cores, skyscrapers , urban infill, and redevelopment will become even more important in the structure of our lives. Now In its 6th year, the eVolo Skyscraper Competition is currently accepting entries for future-forward skyscrapers that redefine how we envision urban design.
