Targetti Art Light Design Competition 2007

The theme of the competition is to create works of art that use artificial light as a tool, material and content.
Participants will present a "light portrait" or "light sculpture".
Works must be new (never before shown in previous exhibitions or published).

Artificial light must be an essential component of the work and all kinds of lighting technologies can be used. The works must also be designed with material and technology suitable for creating several examples, otherwise they will be disqualified.

First Prize: 30,000 euros; 2 second prizes of 5,000 euros; honourable mentions: 14,000 euros.
The closing date for entry and delivery is6th July 2007.
