Schindler Award







We want to inform you that the application closing date for the third Schindler Award for Architecture "Access for All" 2007/2008 themed "To Reclaim the Public Ground" is coming to an end.

The closing date for applications is April 25, 2008. We kindly ask you to apply by filling in the online application form on the Schindler Award website. A DVD containing all relevant working materials related to the Schindler Award 2007/2008 will then be sent to the responsible professor.

The “Access for All” principle is based on finding solutions for everyone rather than concentrating only on measures for specific forms of disability. For Schindler, this means planning and construction according to the “Design for All” philosophy.

April 25, 2008 - Deadline application period

August 1, 2008 - Projects to be submitted

September 9 - 13, 2008 - Projects are judged by jury of experts

November 14, 2008 - Award Ceremony in Lucerne (Switzerland)
